Model anyar Touran mengalami sedikit perubahan. VW megubah grille, bumper, lampu depan, lampu belakang, serta 'roof rails', lengkap dengan velg baru 16 inci.

Terlihat tampilan modern dan dinamis dari luar, dan tidak lagi membosankan seperti model sebelumnya. Selain itu, berkat perubahan eksterior, nilai hambatan angin (Cd) Touran juga membaik dari 0,31 menjadi 0,29.

Acer CloudMobile Skips Europe, Goes on Sale in China

Although Acer CloudMobile has been officially announced earlier in February at the Mobile World Congress 2012 in Barcelona, the smartphone received an iF Design award last year.

All in all, the company promised the smartphone would be launched in the UK in early September. In fact, Acer CloudMobile is already available for pre-order at major retailers across the country for around 290 GBP (465 USD or 360 EUR) off-contract.

Foxconn Reportedly Short on In-Cell Displays for the iPhone 5

Market watchers along with sources in Apple’s supply chain are reporting that Cupertino might not meet its estimates of the first-run of iPhone sales in the third-quarter of 2012. The reason? Component shortages.


Particularly, the in-cell touch panels reportedly employed by the next-generation handset are said to be coming in fewer numbers than anticipated.

Produced by Sharp, whose business is now owned in part by Foxconn, in-cell touch panels are said to be thinner and more reliable than traditional IPS (in-plane-switching) displays.

Terancam Diberangus, Situs di Malaysia "Black Out"

Di Malaysia, lembaga Swadaya Masyarakat, blogger terkenal, dan politikus dari kubu oposisi sepakat untuk "menarik diri" dari internet hari Selasa (14/8/2012) ini. Setidaknya 45 situs Malaysia terlibat dalam rencana tersebut.

Caranya adalah dengan menampilkan sebuah pop-up berwarna hitam berisi kartun dan ajakan untuk menandatangani sebuah petisi Facebook. Di antara sius-situs yang berpartisipasi adalah portal berita Malaysiakini, situs lelang Lelong, dan situs otomotif Paultan.

EA Siap Dukung Windows 8

 Perusahaan game ternama, Electronic Arts (EA), menyatakan siap untuk mendukung sistem operasi terbaru buatan Microsoft, Windows 8, khususnya di ranah mobile.

"Kami sedang membicarakan dengan Microsoft untuk mengerti pandangan mereka soal game," ujar Peter Moore, Chief Operating Office EA, seperti dikutip dari Techradar, Selasa (14/8).

Peter menambahkan, pihaknya menilai bahwa sesuatu yang memungkinkan sebuah platform untuk beradaptasi secara cepat dengan game sangat cocok dengan EA.

AsRock’s Z77 OC Formula Technical Details Unveiled

Well-known mainboard manufacturer AsRock is getting ready to launch its own overclockingoriented Z77 motherboard, featuring the 1155 processor socket. The motherboard was displayed at Computex earlier this year and many thought that it was only a concept as AsRock has a certain market segment it addresses.

Years ago, the world’s largest motherboard manufacturer, Taiwanese company ASUS has decided not to associate its brand with low-end products and thus founded AsRock to take care of that market segment.

Thanks to ASUS’ good channel contacts, market clout and influence, AsRock did very good and quickly achieved high sales and has eventually spun-off as an independent company.
