There's a new dev channel update for Chromebook owners and Cr-48 owners in particular should be pleased with the latest release. Chrome 20.0.1131.11, part of Chrome OS 2268.16.0, has arrived and is being distributed to Chromebooks that subscribe to the dev channel.
Since Chrome 20 is on its way to the beta channel, this release focuses on fixes rather than new features. Several issues with missing audio in videos have been fixed in three separate patches.
Cr-48 owners also get an improved trackpad, which should be a welcomed update. The trackpad was horrible when the Cr-48 devices started shipping though later software updates improved it greatly.
There's also a known issue, as is the norm with these less stable releases, the sync feature may become disabled after the update in some cases. The fix is to simply turn it back on manually.
