Android 4.0.4 Alpha 4 Build Available for Nokia N9

Nokia has just started to push the PR 1.3 update to its Nokia N9 users, yet those who would like to try something new have the option to get Android 4.0.4 up and running on their smartphones. 

Android 4.0.4_r2.1 (ICS) for Nokia N9 is now available courtesy of people behind NITDroid, and has reached version Alpha 4, it seems. 

The new build is based on Android Open-Source Project (AOSP) v 4.0.4_r2.1 (IMM76L), and can be installed only on Nokia N9 devices that are currently running PR 1.3. 


For those out of the loop, we should note that the software does not require for users to completely remove MeeGo from their smartphones. 

Galaxy Nexus No Longer Available at Telstra

Australian mobile phone carrier Telstra has reportedly removed the Galaxy Nexus smartphone from its offering, so as to make room for newer Android models. 

Galaxy Nexus, which was made official at the end of last year, is no longer available for purchase through Telstra’s website, but users might still find some units up for acquisition through the carrier’s retail locations. 

It’s rather interesting that the carrier decided to remove this device from its offering, roughly half a year after it landed on shelves, and precisely when it started to receive an upgrade to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. 

BlackBerry P'9981 Porsche Design Meluncur di Indonesia

BlackBerry P'9981 Porsche Design, yang tak lain merupakan smartphone mewah dari Research In Motion (RIM), kini resmi diluncurkan di Indonesia.

Dalam acara jumpa pers di Jakarta, Kamis (14/6), Eka Anwar selaku Director of Marketing RIM Indonesia menjelaskan bahwa kehadiran produk ini di Tanah Air adalah demi memenuhi kebutuhan konsumen.

"Kami tidak berusaha menjual banyak, namun cukup untuk memenuhi kebutuhan orang yang menginginkan teknologi dan luxury," jelas Eka.

Ia menambahkan, RIM ingin menjaga eksklusifitas dari BlackBerry P'9981 Porsche Design, sehingga tak akan menghadirkannya dalam jumlah besar.

Menanti Mazda2 Terbaru di Indonesia

 PT Mazda Motor Indonesia (MMI) tengah memersiapkan Mazda2 terbaru untuk pasar automotif Indonesia. Rencananya pada Jumat 15 Juni 2012, MMI akan memerkenalkan kepada pewarta di Jakarta.

Chrome 20 Dev Update for Chromebooks Fixes Trackpad Issues

There's a new dev channel update for Chromebook owners and Cr-48 owners in particular should be pleased with the latest release. Chrome 20.0.1131.11, part of Chrome OS 2268.16.0, has arrived and is being distributed to Chromebooks that subscribe to the dev channel.
Since Chrome 20 is on its way to the beta channel, this release focuses on fixes rather than new features. Several issues with missing audio in videos have been fixed in three separate patches.
